26th Feb - Inspiralight makes its first appearance in the luxury magazine Abode2

Jan 8th - Inspiralight appears within the "Bright Ideas" section of February's House & Garden magazine using one of our new photoshoot images (see page 156).

Nov 19th - Thanks to Helen Machen of MachenMayer for her superb photography, time and trouble in preparing some wonderful images that really portray the quality and scale of Inspiralight lamps. A few of these photoshoot images can now be seen scattered across the pages of the website.

17th July - Our first OUT DOOR LAMP, a sneaky peek at our development sample. A lot of hard work has gone into creating a construction platform that allows us to ring the changes with relative ease enabling a range of bespoke finishing options… and not forgetting of course a need to withstand anything our British weather can throw at it. Best to view this example as if it were a blank canvas as this new out door model can be built from various base vases, with shades of different form, size colour and material. Even the central light globe comes in two sizes and the outer shade frame can be removed easily for winter storage leaving the central diffuser and globe light fully functional.

May 9th - Plinths and Bases: Working with a local carpenter Inspiralight will soon be able to offer sturdy custom plinths and bases on which to mount our lamps. Supplied as a separate component these will be particularly useful for the large table lamps where customs want to position them in an elevated location on a small strong yet unobtrusive support specific to their requirements.  Watch this space.

Nov 14th - Inspiralight is pleased to announce the exclusive deal with Weston Earth Images Ltd for the supply of large format printed silks as shade fabric. Weston Earth Images run by Richard Weston professor of Architecture at Cardiff University and of TV fame “The Next big Thing” produces some highly original and extraordinary patterned prints from microscopic images of rock strata, crystals and fossils, many of which are extremely colourful.
